Dustin Johnson says he is considering playing on both the PGA and European Tours next season after enjoying some success on this side of the Atlantic over the last couple of years.
Outside of the four Majors and World Golf Championship events, Johnson, who is 20/1 with bookmaker to win the 2011 US Money List, has already played three European Tour events this season in South Korea, Germany and Sweden.
The American finished in the top 20 in the BMW International Open before tying in sixth place at the Scandinavian Masters shortly after finishing joint runner-up to Darren Clarke at the Open Championship.
Johnson has until December to decide whether to take up full-time membership in Europe but the prospect excites him and he believes he would stand a realistic chance of winning the Race to Dubai title.
He told Associated Press: “I like travelling and seeing the world. You get two shots to win a money title. Both would be nice to win.”
