Chelsea head coach Andre Villas-Boas has urged his side to see off Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday evening to ease the pressure on themselves.
The Blues have lost three of their last six games in all competitions, but are 5/4 with bookmaker to win in Germany and book their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
Villas-Boas said: “The most important thing is finding winning ways straightaway – if possible against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, that is a massive game.
“It looks bad for us at this moment. It has not been the brightest of starts – the worst for quite some time – but we have to have belief and believe in the work to get back to winning ways.
“The players have immense talent and I believe in them.”
Leverkusen are 9/4 to send the Blues crashing to another defeat which would place Villas-Boas’ future into further doubt.
