Michael Carrick has warned Manchester United’s title challengers that Sir Alex Ferguson’s team should not be written off.
The former Spurs star scored his first goal since January 2010 during Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Queen’s Park Rangers at Loftus Road and is looking to make it six points out of six in two visits to the capital when United take on Fulham on Wednesday.
United are 7/1 with bookmaker to win the Craven Cottage clash 2-0 and are now 15/8 to be Premier League champions this season.
Manchester City have a two-point advantage over United after the Etihad club beat Arsenal 1-0, but Carrick said: “People have been writing us off but we’re looking strong and we’re happy with the way we’re going.”
