England are expected to name an unchanged line-up for the second one-day international against Pakistan even though several players struggled in the first game between the two teams.
After being thrashed 3-0 in the Test series by Pakistan, England bounced back well to win the opening ODI by 130 runs but cannot be complacent ahead of Wednesday’s game as several players again failed.
Apart from captain Alastair Cook, only Ravi Bopara dealt well with the Pakistani spinners and the likes of Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Eoin Morgan and Craig Kieswetter will be keen to impress in the second ODI in Abu Dhabi.
Pakistan are likely to make a couple of changes for the game, which England are 11/10 with bookmaker to win, while Pakistan are 8/11 to level the series.
Wahab Riaz was ineffective and looks set to be replaced by Junaid Khan while Azhar Ali may replace the disappointing Imran Farhat.
