France head coach Philippe Saint-Andre has named the same squad that featured in the 17-17 draw with Ireland for this weekend’s Six Nations clash with England.
Les Bleus’ Grand Slam hopes were ended at the Stade Francais by an Irish side that led by 11 points at one stage but Saint-Andre has decided to name the same 23-man squad for the clash against England, who are 5/2 with bookmaker to win in Paris.
Saint-Andre said of his side’s draw with Ireland: “Bizarrely, it was only a draw but it was our best performance since the start of the Six Nations. Statistics showed that we dominated but did not win.”
France are 1/3 to beat England on Sunday.
