Richie Myler has backed Warrington Wolves to become the first club in six years to complete a Super League and Challenge Cup double this season.
The last team to win both competitions were St Helens in 2006, with Warrington having completed the first part of a potential double by beating Leeds Rhinos 35-18 in the Challenge Cup Final last month.
Now Myler says he and his colleagues are focused on the job of trying to win the Grand Final, with the Wolves 11/8 with bookmaker to be crowned Super League champions.
“No team has managed to do the double for a while now and we’re the only club now that can do it this year, so that’s a bit of an incentive for us,” Myler said.
“It’s great to enjoy the final and celebrate the win, but we’ve been here before and not really kicked on in the play-offs.
“So we’re all pretty fired up to do better this time and have re-focused our minds on the Grand Final.”
