Usain Bolt insists he shouldn’t be viewed as an Olympic legend until he has added the 2012 200m title to his 100m gold.
The Jamaican, who is 1/5 with bookmaker to triumph in the 200m, retained his 100m title in stunning style on Sunday evening, setting a new Olympic record of 9.63 seconds.
Bolt’s training partner Yohan Blake had to settle for silver while American Justin Gatlin claimed bronze.
“This gold means I am one step closer to being a legend so I’m working toward that,” said Bolt. “That’s just one step.
“I have the 200m to go, so I’m looking forward to that.”
