In four Polish host cities three thousand volunteers will help guests of the EURO 2012. The recruitment officially began on Wednesday. The “Volunteer Work of Host Cities” programme is independent of the similar one organized by the UEFA and is directed mainly to fans and tourists, not only to team players of the EURO 2012. The Euro 2012 playoff draw was held Thursday in Krakow, Poland. The winners of these four home-and-home series will get the final four berths at next summer’s tournament, joining the 12 teams that have already qualified. In September 2011 a new programme on language education has started. Kiev healthcare staff can now learn English for free.  The facility is organized by Rodion Butko foundation. It is planned to educate 911 kievan medics in 3 months. SUch step is crucial for EURO 2012 preparation because of an urgent need of English speaking specialists to host the championship. Lanugage barrier has always been a major problem for a vast population of Ukraine. These privately financed language courses will greatly contribute to a successful EURO 2012 in Ukraine.

The 3rd part of Wrocław Motorway Bypass was opened. From today, drivers can cross the Odra and Ślęża rivers over the Rędziński Bridge.
