Bosnia, Herzegovina and Hungary will be competitors of Ireland national team in the final period of preparations for the European Championships, which from June 8 to July 1 will be held in Poland and Ukraine. The Euro 2012 playoff draw was held Thursday in Krakow, Poland. The winners of these four home-and-home series will get the final four berths at next summer’s tournament, joining the 12 teams that have already qualified. Sunday’s draw for the Euro 2012 Championships qualifying competition was finished. Each team in the qualifying groups will play one another on a home and away basis, with matches taking place up to October 2011. The nine group winners and the best runner-up qualify directly for the final tournament. The eight remaining runners-up will contest two-legged play-offs to decide who gets the four remaining places.
