Steve Naismith insists Rangers must kick on from their 4-2 victory over Celtic in Sunday’s Old Firm derby.
The win moved Rangers four points ahead of their Glasgow rivals and they are now 1/1 with bookmaker to retain their Scottish Premier League title.
Celtic were 2-1 ahead at the break but Nikica Jelavic and Kyle Lafferty put Rangers ahead in the second half and Naismith got his second of the game in injury time to seal the points, while Charlie Mulgrew was sent off for the Hoops.
And while Naismith believes Rangers put in their “best performance of the season”, he has urged his side not to take anything for granted in their next few games.
“There is no point in winning this game and then dropping points in the coming weeks so our main focus now is on Falkirk during the week [in the Scottish Communities League Cup] and back into league action next weekend,” he said.
