Akos Buzsaky insists Mark Hughes is the right man to turn around QPR’s fortunes as they battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Rangers are not in great form, winning just one of their last six league games, and are 2/1 with bookmaker to defeat fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers on Saturday. They are out of the drop zone on goal difference and a win could help them close the gap on Aston Villa, who are eight points above them in the table.
The R’s have not been helped by losing two players to red cards in recent games, but midfielder Buzsaky believes his team-mates are responding well to Hughes’ approach and insists he was the right choice to replace previous boss Neil Warnock.
He said: “With the arrival of Mark Hughes, the team has become better, more organised and a lot stronger physically.
“Last time, when we played against Everton, a strong mid-table team, we were dominating throughout the majority of the 90 minutes. We had better possession, more opportunities to score, so it is going much better than it was under Neil Warnock.”
