Celtic boss Neil Lennon is braced for more drama in the race for the SPL title after seeing his side leapfrog Rangers to sit two points clear at the top of the league.
Lennon’s side recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over their Glasgow rivals on Wednesday night thanks to a Joe Ledley second-half header and are now 4/11 with bookmaker to be crowned SPL champions.
The Hoops chief was delighted by the way his team performed but is taking nothing for granted just yet, despite overseeing nine straight league wins.
He said: “I always believed. It’s come quicker than we expected obviously, but that’s the consistency that this team has put together and we knew that Rangers couldn’t keep their form up from the start of the season.
“At the moment we’re in a good place, but this changes nothing – all it does is psychologically give us a lift going into the New Year.”
