Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he doesn’t want the season to end, having seen his team’s fortunes turn around in the last few weeks.
The Gunners have won eight of their last nine games in the league and are 4/9 with bookmaker to defeat Wolves at Molineux on Wednesday.
Wenger’s side’s extraordinary run has seen them move above London rivals Chelsea and Spurs in the table and they show no sign of letting up yet.
“This team has grown in the last two or three months and it is a shame that the distance (until the end of the season) is not longer,” Wenger told the club’s official website.
“We are ten points behind Manchester City now, which is amazing when you think back to where we were at the start of the season.”
