USPGA champion Keegan Bradley, 40/1 with bookmaker, is determined to mount a push for victory next week at The Masters in his first appearance in the tournament.
The 24-year-old is hoping to become only the second man in the modern era to win at Augusta at the first time of asking, with another American, Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979, the only other player to do so in recent times.
Bradley told USA Today: “I’m going to put a lot of time in. I’m trying my best to play well there my first year.
“Augusta is going to be very important to me and I plan on playing as much as I can.”
Bradley has also enlisted the help of friend and three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson as he builds up to the first Major of the year, with his fellow American 12/1 to add a fourth Green Jacket to his collection.
