Rickie Fowler hopes to build on his success at last week’s Korean Open by emerging victorious at the McGladrey Classic, a tournament he is 22/1 with bookmaker to win.
Fowler ended his winless streak in the professional ranks in emphatic style in Asia, finishing six strokes clear of his nearest rival.
The 22-year-old said in the build-up to this week’s tournament: “I definitely want to get a first pro win in the US. It’s definitely one of my main goals right now.”
There is a high-quality field at this week’s tournament though, with the likes of Webb Simpson, 12/1 to win the event, Paul Casey and Robert Allenby all taking part.
