Carl Ablett has committed his long-term future to the Leeds Rhinos, putting pen to paper on a new five-year extension to his current deal.
The news comes as a big boost for the Super League champions, who are 8/13 with bookmaker to defeat Wigan on Friday at Headingley.
The 26-year-old has made 150 appearances for the Yorkshire club since his Super League debut in 2004.
“I am really pleased to have signed this long-term contract and I think it signals the next stage of my career here at the Rhinos,” the England international told the club’s official website.
“We have had some great success in recent times but I think the club have done a great job in building for the future with a number of the guys on long contracts now.”
