Bradford Bulls will be aiming to put their off-field problems behind them when they take on Castleford Tigers at Odsal in a key West Yorkshire derby on Monday evening.
Club director Stephen Coulby has revealed that £1.5million is needed to secure the Bulls’ future and in their last game they were beaten 37-22 by Leeds Rhinos during the Magic Weekend in Manchester.
Bradford, 2/5 with bookmaker to beat Castleford, will be without Chev Walker, Adrian Purtell, Elliot Kear, Craig Kopczak and Matt Diskin for the game although coach Mick Potter is expected to include the likes of Ian Sibbit, Danny Addy, Tom Olbison and Adam O’Brien in his team.
The Tigers, 2/1 to win the match, have been handed a pre-match boost by the news that Ryan McGoldrick is available again after serving his two-match suspension, while Jake Emmitt and Josh Griffin could both be recalled to the starting line-up.
