Hull FC prop forward Sam Moa hopes he can end his time in England on a high before he returns to Australia at the end of this season.
Moa has opted to return to the NRL where he will link up with Sydney Roosters after admitting to feeling homesick.
However, the powerful front rower insists his immediate priority is to help the Airlie Birds to success in the upcoming play-off series, beginning with Sunday’s clash against Huddersfield. Hull are 2/5 with bookmaker to beat the Giants and 33/1 to go on and win the Grand Final.
“I’m desperate to play again for this club before the end of the season. I’ve been getting upset about not being here next season and that I’m leaving my mates in this team, so I really want to get out there in the play-offs,” said Moa, who joined Hull from Cronulla Sharks in 2009.
“What better way for me to leave than to play with this side again and contribute to us doing well in the play-offs.”
