England centre Jack Reed says he and his team-mates have moved on from the loss to Australia and are fully focused on beating New Zealand to reach the Four Nations final.
Reed and co are 11/8 to beat the Kiwis at Hull’s KC Stadium on Friday to book a final rematch with Australia. The Brisbane Broncos ace is confident that the 36-20 weekend loss to the Kangaroos has already been forgotten.
Reed said: “You just get on with it. We have another game to plan for and our minds are focused on that.
“We’ve taken a great deal of confidence from how we played against the Kangaroos and I’m sure New Zealand sat up and paid attention.”
England stand-off Kevin Sinfield added: “It’s straight knockout now for us.
“We can take some confidence from Saturday. At times we troubled the Aussies and it would be great to get another crack at them.”
