St Helens full-back Paul Wellens has played down his side’s chances of beating Leeds Rhinos in Saturday’s Grand Final.

Saints, 4/6 with bookmaker to win at Old Trafford, were beaten in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 finals by Leeds, who are 11/8 to edge the match.
But Wellens is determined not to look back, saying: “The defeats are part of our history and obviously we were disappointed with them but this is 2011 and there are new coaches and new players.”
