Defence coach Shaun Edwards has warned Wales, 8/11 with bookmaker to win in Auckland on Saturday, that World Cup semi-final opponents France will be difficult opponents.
Les Bleus shocked England 19-12 at the weekend and Warren Gatland’s assistant believes that the French are not to be taken lightly, having reached the last four in each of the last four World Cups.
“I’ve heard their coach say they have to overcome the obstacle of only having one big performance in them,” Edwards said.
“But if you look at France in the Six Nations over the last five or six years I think they’ve won it the most, which shows they have consistently performed over five games.
France are 5/4 to come out on top and reach the final for the first time since 1999.
