Former Bath flanker Lewis Moody has urged the team’s supporters to be patient as they begin life under head coach Gary Gold.
The new look management team under Gold includes Neal Hatley, Mike Ford, Brad Davies and Toby Booth following the departure of former boss Sir Ian McGeechan.
Bath, who are 14/1 to win the Aviva Premiership Grand Final with bookmaker, can’t expect to have a team of world beaters straight away according to Moody.
He told BBC Radio Bristol: “There needs to be a realistic understanding of the team’s prospects.
“With Gary Gold and a number of new coaches coming in to the mix I’m sure their fortunes will change but I don’t think it will be immediate.”
