Both Ireland and France are unhappy with the decision to reschedule their Six Nations clash for Sunday 4th March.
The two nations were supposed to meet at the Stade de France last weekend but, because of the freezing conditions in Paris, the match had to be postponed just ten minutes before kick-off.
Ireland had wanted the match to be played on 3rd March to give their players longer to recover between games, while the French were keen for it to be staged at the end of the Top 14 competition so that their domestic season wasn’t interrupted.
France, 13/8 with bookmaker to secure the Six Nations title, recorded a comfortable victory over Italy in their first game while Wales, who are 6/5 to win the competition, are expected to be their most likely challengers.
