Injury-hit Northampton Saints flanker Tom Wood has backed his side to reach the play-offs and challenge for Aviva Premiership Grand Final glory.
England star Wood has missed most of the season due to a foot problem, but is backing the Saints, 5/1 with bookmaker to win the Grand Final, to see off Worcester this weekend and ensure a top-four finish.
That would set up a top-four showdown with Leicester, Saracens and Harlequins, with Wood expecting all four sides to challenge for the ultimate prize.
He said: “We’ll take nothing for granted. We know we’re up against it; we’ve got a couple of people banned and injured, so we’ve got our work cut out.
“We’ll go into those games confident, knowing we can beat those teams if we play to our capacity.”
Leicester are evens to win the Grand Final, with defending champions Sarries 10/3 and Quins 7/2.
