Ukraine Stadium in Lvov is a new object which will be built specially for Euro 2012. At present design works are in the final phase, and according to plan its building is expected to be finished in 2009. This modern stadium is expected to be the main element of a large shopping-show centre. A capacity of stand is estimated at over 30 thousand seats. Fifty million hryvnas (about 17 million zlotys) for the construction of the stadium will have been given to Lviv before the end of this year. Austrian corporation Alpine Bau Gmbh won the competition for a build of a new stadium in Lviv. On Thursday, the mayor of Lviv informed that the football matches of the Euro 2012 championship, that is organized by Poland and Ukraine, will take place in the mentioned stadium.
