The squad of Sweden consisting of 23 footballers nominated by the head coach Erik Hamren to participate in European football championships in Poland and Ukraine includes also the striker Johan Elmander, who plays for the Turkish club Galatasaray and was injured during a league match. The footballer got a right foot injury while playing on Saturday in the Turkish premier league against Fenerbahce Istanbul (0:0). Paolo Bento announced on Monday evening during a press conference in Obidos Portugal’s European football championships roster consisting of 23 players. The lineup does not significantly differ from that nominated by the coach to take part at the match with Poland in February.
