Fabio Capello is wary of Gareth Bale’s skills as the Italian attempts to guide his England side to victory against Wales in a vital Euro 2012 qualifier.
England, 1/7 with bookmaker to beat Wales, know that victory will take them to the brink of qualifying for next summer’s finals in Ukraine and Poland.
Their cause was helped when Gary Speed’s side, 20/1 to cause a big upset at Wembley, beat Montenegro 2-1 in Cardiff on Friday.
England have failed to win any of their last four internationals at Wembley and Capello admits he is making arrangements to take care of Bale.
“Bale is a really important player for Wales,” he said. “I was at Tottenham’s game against Manchester City and he was so-so. But for Wales against Montenegro on Friday he improved a lot.
“He ran a lot and was really fast. When he receives the ball and attacks the space he is really fantastic. It’s difficult to stop him.”
