Daniel Sturridge and Jack Rodwell have been included in Fabio Capello’s England squad for the first time and could feature in the friendly internationals against Spain and Sweden.
The pair have won their first call-ups after impressing for Chelsea and Everton respectively in the opening three months of the season.
England are 17/2 with bookmaker to beat Spain 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday while the reigning World and European champions can be backed at 8/1 to win the match 2-0.
Chelsea captain John Terry is also included in the 25-man squad, but Manchester United duo Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney have been omitted.
