Sir Alex Ferguson could hand Phil Jones a start in place of Rio Ferdinand at the heart of the Manchester United defence when they travel to Everton this weekend.
United, who were thrashed 6-1 by Manchester City at Old Trafford last weekend and are 12/1 with bookmaker to win 3-0 at Everton, are still hurting from their derby debacle.
But they won’t find things easy at Goodison Park, where David Moyes’ side have hit three goals in each of United’s last two visits.
Everton are 12/1 to add to United’s woes by winning the Saturday lunchtime clash 1-0.
Ferguson is expected to make several changes to his starting line-up, with a fit-again Tom Cleverley expected to return to the midfield fray in place of Anderson.
