ХудожникJoleon Lescott hopes England can build on their victory in Norway by beating Belgium at Wembley in their final warm-up match before Euro 2012.
England are 4/9 with bookmaker to win Saturday’s friendly international while Belgium can be backed at 7/1 to secure a victory.
Lescott played a key role in helping Manchester City clinch the Premier League crown earlier this month and the former Everton and Wolves defender was arguably England’s star man during the 1-0 friendly win in Oslo.
He hopes Roy Hodgson’s squad can continue to build their momentum ahead of the European Championship finals in Poland and Ukraine, saying: “As a building block towards the Euros, the Norway game was a very good exercise. Obviously, it’s still early days with the new manager and the new staff set-up so I think people need to practice what they’ve been trying to work on in training.
“It was important to get a win to build confidence and hopefully we can do that as well against Belgium.”
