The Republic of Ireland, 1/1 with bookmaker not to qualify for Euro 2012, have been seeded for next month’s two-legged play-offs.
UEFA will make the draw for the play-offs on Thursday when Giovanni Trapattoni’s men are 14/5 to be paired with Turkey.
Kevin Doyle will miss the first leg after being sent off against Armenia on Tuesday when Ireland booked their place in the play-offs with a 2-1 victory in Dublin.
They could also play Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro or Estonia in a two-legged tie. Portugal, Croatia and the Czech Republic have also been seeded.
