Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is adamant that his squad have what it takes to win the Premier League title this season.
The Citizens currently lead the way by two points from Manchester rivals United and are 1/2 with bookmaker to win the top-flight crown for the first time since 1968.
Kompany hailed Micah Richards as ‘the best right-back in the league’, while also praising England goalkeeper Joe Hart for his mental strength under pressure.
Belgium centre-half Kompany recently served a four-match suspension after being sent off in the FA Cup defeat to United and has since been struggling with a knee problem which could see him miss this weekend’s trip to Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, City manager Roberto Mancini has told his players to focus on themselves and not United, telling the Daily Star: “It is important that we stay top and don’t think about the other teams.”
