Vincent Kompany believes that nothing less than the Premier League title will suffice for Manchester City this season.
Roberto Mancini’s side, who are 2/1 with bookmaker to finish top this season and 12/1 to win the Champions League, secured the FA Cup last term as well as finishing third in the Premier League.
Kompany believes that City now have a squad to cope with the huge expectations that are on them, saying: “There’s now only one place to go for this year and that’s to win the title.
“It’s a big challenge but why not? There is pressure and expectation upon us but that’s what we want.”
