Manchester City head coach Roberto Mancini will send his side out to go for the win in their derby clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
City, who are 14/5 with bookmaker to win the game, go into the clash two points ahead of their crosstown rivals at the top of the table and Mancini admits that a draw (12/5) would be a good outcome.
He told reporters: “If we leave Old Trafford with a draw that is good for us, but that is not our mentality and it’s the same for United. Like us they always want to win every game.
“If we win it will be important, but I don’t think it will change anything because the season is long.”
Mancini has no injury problems to contend with, but Carlos Tevez will not feature following his recent run-in with the manager.
bookmaker are offering a free In-Play bet on the Manchester derby for anyone placing a pre-match bet on the Old Trafford Sunday showdown.
