Carlos Tevez’s Manchester City career could be over after he appeared to refuse to take to the field during the 2-0 Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich.
Citizens head coach Roberto Mancini was furious with the Argentinian, whose actions overshadowed a result which left City 14/1 with bookmaker to win the Champions League at the first attempt.
An angry Mancini said afterwards: “If I have my way he will be out. He’s finished with me.
“If we want to improve as a team Carlos can’t play with us. With me, he is finished.”
Edin Dzeko also showed his displeasure at being replaced during Tuesday evening’s loss in the Allianz Arena, with Mancini hoping to move on quickly for the Premier League trip to Blackburn on Saturday.
City are 8/13 to win at Ewood Park and 7/1 to win by a 2-0 scoreline.
