Roberto Martinez has warned Wigan Athletic supporters their fight against relegation will go right down to the wire again this season.
Wigan, who are 4/9 with bookmaker to be relegated, have left it late to avoid the drop in two of the last three seasons.
They have given themselves a chance in recent weeks with wins over Liverpool and Wigan, but face Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal in the coming weeks.
However, Martinez believes the Latics have a great chance of staying up.
The Wigan boss said: “You can only control your own fate. Our last two fixtures are against Blackburn and Wolves and it’s very difficult not to think it’s going to go down to the last day of the season.
“But we are pleased with that because we have been through a difficult season, we had eight defeats on the trot at one stage.”
