Stefan Savic believes England will not find it easy when they take on Montenegro in a crucial Euro 2012 qualifier in Podgorica on Friday.
The Manchester City defender, who scored his first goal for the club when he came off the bench to head home in Saturday’s 4-0 rout of Blackburn Rovers, knows that a victory over Fabio Capello’s men would give Montenegro the chance to top the group, but they would still need to win their final fixture in Switzerland.
“It should be a good game for both teams, but I expect a good result for us. If we want to finish first in the group we have to win our next two games, but it’s going to be hard,” he said.
England are 4/6 with bookmaker to grab the draw they need to reach the finals in Poland and Ukraine, and 5/1 to claim a 1-0 victory.
