Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge has called for the talking to stop at Stamford Bridge, as his side bid to rescue something from a disappointing campaign to date.
The Blues are currently fifth in the Premier League table and are 10/11 with bookmaker to finish in the top four, while the Londoners are also still in the Champions League, although they trail 3-1 after the first leg of their last-16 tie away to Napoli.
Sturridge told reporters: “A successful season now would be winning the FA Cup or the Champions League. If we could do one or the other it would be great.
“I think we’ve got to get some sort of silverware and to get in the top four.”
Next up for Andre Villas-Boas’ men is a tricky trip to The Hawthorns to take on West Brom on Saturday, with the Baggies having hit top form in recent games, winning 5-1 at Wolves and 4-0 at home to Sunderland in their last two outings.
