Sunderland have started searching for a new manager after parting company with Steve Bruce in the wake of the 2-1 home defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Martin O’Neill, 1/3 with bookmaker to be the Black Cats’ new manager, and Mark Hughes, who is available at 11/4, are two men to have already been linked with the post.
Hughes has been without a job since resigning as Fulham boss almost six months ago while O’Neill has not had a club since leaving Aston Villa in June 2010.
The weekend loss to Wigan has left the Black Cats 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the relegation places.
